Art and Nature To further enhance the biodiversity at Arcadia we have created three wildlife ponds, each slightly different in scale and structure, in order to encourage a broad range of insects and wildlife.
An abundance of Dragonflies and Damselflies have made Arcadia their home, and a myriad of other insect life has populated our new ponds.
Since creating the ponds, over the past two years there has been a significant increase in the abundance of insect life at Arcadia and we are very encouraged to see thousands of bees populate our new wild meadow, feeding on the clover and wild flowers that had lain dormant in the soil, re-emerging once the field was left fallow. This type of wild meadow produces an abundance of nectar and pollen which helps sustain the bees during the early part of Summer.
